Guo Mingchi: Apple Watch Series 10 to be launched in the second half of the year will have a design upgrade
On June 17th, well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo stated in a post that the Apple Watch Series 10 to be launched in the second half of the year will have an upgraded appearance, including a larger screen size (upgraded from 45mm/41mm to approximately 49mm/45mm) and a thinner design. In addition, there are no significant changes in the specifications of the Apple Watch Ultra model, but if the production yield meets expectations, there may be additional color options for the casing (black/dark). Kuo also pointed out that starting from 2H24, the Apple Watch will use components produced by 3D printing technology. Although there was no mass production last year, after more than a year of intensive testing, the production efficiency of 3D printing has significantly improved. The supplier of 3D printed components is Bolitech. Unlike before, Bolitech was a equipment supplier last year, but this year it is a component manufacturer. Due to the cost advantages of 3D printing, it is expected that Bolitech's shipments of 3D printed components will continue to grow in the coming years, with the opportunity to achieve the Apple Watch casing (as the casing is less difficult than other Apple products)
