Semiconductor concept stocks almost across the board suffered defeat, with NVIDIA falling more than 9.5% and breaking below the 100-day moving average

On Tuesday, Nvidia fell by 9.53% to $108.00, breaking below the 100-day moving average and approaching the closing price of $104.75 on August 9th, with a market value evaporating by $279 billion; Nvidia's double long ETF fell by 18.98%. AMD Semiconductor dropped by 14.57%, with MPWR and Silicon Labs also falling by over 10%. MKSI, MaxLinear, Aker Technology, Nova, KLA, Rambus, Applied Materials, Lattice Semiconductor all fell by up to 9.89%, Intel fell by 8.8%, GlobalFoundries fell by 8.57%, Micron Technology fell by over 7.9%, AMD fell by over 7.8%, while Super Micro Computer rose by 0.93%
