On September 19th, media reports indicated that Yu Hong, the General Manager of Ping An Life Insurance, has submitted his resignation to the board.
After the completion of Yu Hong's re-employment term upon retirement, he will step down from his positions as Executive Director and General Manager of Ping An Life Insurance.
Meanwhile, following the board's review, Yang Zheng, the Party Secretary and Chairman of Ping An Life Insurance, will assume the role of interim leader of the company, carrying out the duties of the General Manager. The aforementioned changes in positions will take effect upon the completion of relevant regulatory procedures.

According to his resume, Yu Hong, born in October 1968, joined Ping An in December 1997, and has held various positions such as Director of the Premium Department Charging Planning Office at Ping An Life Insurance Headquarters, Director of the Chairman's Office and Deputy General Manager of Ping An Life Insurance, Deputy General Manager and General Manager of Chongqing Branch of Ping An Life Insurance, Assistant General Manager, Deputy General Manager, and General Manager of Ping An Life Insurance Company. Yu Hong holds a bachelor's degree in Chemical Equipment and Machinery from Qingdao Institute of Chemical Technology.
On the other hand, Yang Zheng, who has been appointed as the interim leader, currently serves as the Party Secretary and Chairman of Ping An Life Insurance Company of China, Limited. He joined Ping An in July 1994 and has held positions such as Chairman of Ping An Health Insurance, General Manager of Ping An Property Insurance, Deputy General Manager of the Eastern Region Business Division of Ping An Bank, Assistant General Manager of Ping An Property Insurance and General Manager of the Northern Region Business Division, and General Manager of Ping An Property Insurance Shanghai Branch. Yang Zheng holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Asia (Macau) International Open University
